How likely is it that Molony returns? Haven’t seen anything about it other than the poster on here. I would think if he is, a guy like Malosi would be in the portal.greenyellow wrote: Tue Jun 30, 2026 8:03 pm FR INF Owen Morgan has hit the portal. Makes sense he wouldn't be back if Molony returns and them adding Johnstone from Vandy to start at 3B.

Looks like we added Arizona State OF Dominic Longo. Also Noah Figuered from Edmonds College, teammates with Cooper Barrow who we also added from them.

Seems they've added quite a few portal/JUCOs. In addition to Longo and Figuered, they've P Chase Frey from GCU, C Ben Barrow from JMU, JUCO INF Briggs Roe (who previously played at Kansas State), and JUCO OF Nolan Geislinger.

Angel Laya is now headed to LSU. Once again $$$$ ends up being the difference.

Roe, Summers and Frey look like good additions, outside of the ones we already knew about. I really like where are pitching is at. The same guy who posted that list on twitter said he liked our chances of getting Gosztola back.

Oregon has added Coastal Carolina (and former Texas) C Cole Chamberlain, who's originally from Novato, CA. That's now at least 3 catchers they've had commit this offseason to help replace Mabeus. Most can also play DH, 1B, or in the OF so they're not pigeonholed into only one position.

With the draft done, here's an early look at what the roster could be for 2027. If they can get Madrid and/or Rolon along with Frey and maybe Gosztola, this might be a decent offseason for the program and Waz to build into next season.

With Adrian Lopez joining the program, Waz has his likely starting 1B or even DH next season. Not easy to find that kind of power hitting late in the portal cycle.

Oregon has added Hawaii FR RHP Brody Martin-Grudzielanek, who's the son of former MLB All-Star and Golden Glover winner Mark Grudzielanek. Supposedly he has a fastball that tops out at 97 MPH so good to have a flamethrower who could start or come out of the bullpen.

How???? That’s a crazy good pickup. Acrually makes me feel a lot better about next years hitting. So curious to learn why he’s leaving usc. I know they lost a lot, but so did we!

Couldn't believe it myself. Seems they're spending their NIL wisely and their track record of developing players is actually winning some starter-level guys over. Going to take some time learning all these new faces after having a fairly veteran and stable roster the past few seasons.UOducksTK1 wrote: Sun Jul 12, 2026 10:11 pmHow???? Re: 2026 Offseason Transfers In/Out
The timing of his commitment indicates Waz has most likely been waiting to see what a few guys were going to do in The draft. Probably had some NIL money open up when guys like Molony got drafted and are leaving. Wonder if he’s after any more bigger names that are left in the portal. Would really like a more proven D1 middle infielder and one more weekend rotation level pitcher. Was really hoping we could keep Gosztola, but sounds like he’ll probably sign.greenyellow wrote: Sun Jul 12, 2026 11:51 pmCouldn't believe it myself. I think Briggs Roe might be a diamond in the rough coming from JUCO.
