If we had the 2022 Oregon offensive line, give me Moore all day. With this OLine? Raiola may be a better option. But overall the pass protection wasn’t that bad tonight, but our OLine cannot run block.

That's for sure. Take away Jordon's 45 yard run and he had 15 carries for 21 yards. Somehow, I don't think that's his fault.

First off, I am so glad and relieved to hear the medical diagnosis & prognosis of Dante's injury are better than they could have been and appeared to be at the time.

Second, It's understandable the amount of attention is directed at #8's actions & behaviors after the play.

That being said, it is disappointing that so many talking head honks are calling it a late slide or a "bang bang" play that couldn't be avoided as an excuse for the hit. There are still images that clearly show Dante approximately mid slide with his right knee and all of his lower leg in contact with the turf and #8 is approximately 4 feet away with his right foot (the leg he uses to drive the hit) just about to touch the turf. From what I see, #8 loaded & delivered the hit with intent after Dante was clearly down. #8 had opportunity to at minimum try to avoid contact, but decided to deliver a punishing blow. The hit itself as delivered would be a penalty against any player anywhere on the field at anytime. Even if he attempted to avoid collision with Dante, any contact to the head would still draw a penalty.

Bottom line, it was a dirty hit that he delivered with intent!

Yeah, people see what they want to see. The reality of that situation is that nobody has to tackle a guy who is already on the ground. That's a conscious choice to go down with him and deliver that blow, and we see many players jumping over the QB instead - happens all the time. If there is any doubt as to intentionality though, all one needs to do is watch the demonstration by that player after the play is over. He goes on and on as if he just knocked out Ali instead of a guy who gave himself up after running for a first down. Literally the only thing to celebrate there for the defensive player is the hit. Everything else being said is just nonsense. I thought the announcers in the Ducks vs Them were hilarious. That was a great find by the production team.

I have no clue what will happen…but Dante getting cheap shot is a moment that has potential to completely change the season
