I believe someone said on some other post that LMJ is out until the later part of next years season, but that seems like a long time for shoulder surgery, we'll see. Hows Coasta's rehab coming along? Boy that guy has had an unfortunate run for his talent.

What kind of shoulder injury would keep James out until mid next season? And if it was that serious, he would have had surgery a while ago. I think the severity is a rumor. We would have heard more about it, or something official.

Drew "Smoke" Davis is another rehabbing player.

I've never seen anything that says James will be out until mid-season anywhere but on this board. It almost seems like people are saying he'll be out that long so we can convince ourselves that Bryce Brown will commit

The last report on LMJ was that he'd be ready for Spring Ball but no contact until Fall Ball (just like Nate last year...minus the re-injury of course).

Nate's injury happened earlier in the year this time and he is having a different procedure than the first two times so his recovery should be further along than it was last year. Hopefully it will take better than the last two as well.

He might get held out of contact drills in spring ball again to be safe but I'd bet anything he will be able to make a full go of it in fall practice.

I feel bad for the guy. On the bright side though, if he is healthy it enables us to look at using a RS on somebody else.

I love the thought of stockpiling some talent like USC does

Nate's surgery was different because this time the tissue used for the repair was from his own body (A portion of the patellar, which, unlike a ligament, will heall itself over time.), so the odds of a successful recovery and rehab are greatly increased over the use of 'donor' tissue.

Talked to Drew Davis at a Holiday Bowl practice. He says he's rehabbing well and will be ready for spring.
