I hope the Ducks win this one, just because of that fact... This has been such a depressing season, and seeing Coach Harter back as honorary captain for that lame effort against UW just served to emphasize some of the factors this team is missing.

Any online stream available?
“If everybody in this room just want to be real with themselves, this game could have went either way,” he said. “We turned the ball over a lot. We beat ourself. Just be real with yourself right now. We beat ourself.”

Anyone know why the PIT Crew keeps chanting "How's your sister?" to Casto. One reph warned them because he though they were saying something worse.

Sloppy first half. You can tell it's the two worst teams in conference. It would be embarassing to lose to Washington State in the last pac-10 game at mac court.

Game over, ducks win!
And Ernie is gone.
Porter now only needs 5 3-pointers to break the Pac-10 all time career 3 point record. He's gonna need a huge first round pac-10 game..

Foster sister? That to me seems like something they should have left alone, and they could show a little more class than that.

Definitely got better in the second half, but just made too many mental errors that made it close late.

Good way to end the season, especially since it was the last pac-10 game at mac court. I just got home and saw the Kent news. I will give props to Ernie for bringing our program a long way and for graduating his players. Here is to hoping the future of Oregon basketball gets back on track.

As Pit Crew VP, although I just finished my last game as a senior, if we get news that a player knocked up his foster sister, we're gonna use it. We aren't concerned about being classy, that isn't our job or prerogative. We aren't there to make anyone feel welcome and this isn't baseball (a sport which I love) where class is a part of the game. College football and basketball games are full of passion and pageantry and student sections are there to give the home team an advantage. If we can get into an opposing players' head about something he did, not something he was a victim of, then we will. He CHOSE to have sex with his foster sister and now she's pregnant. In no way is growing up in foster care easy, but he still made a choice, a very poor one and although it isn't our business to judge him, we aren't there to play by society's rules. We are there to distract him and give our team an advantage. Racism, homophobia, or any other kind of prejudice is not welcome and we try not to make fun of someone for being a victim of something. But we will hound on any player that makes a mistake, regardless of that fact that we ALL make mistakes. It's just part of the college sporting world.buckmarkduck wrote:Foster sister? Re: Washington State @ Oregon
It's too bad you feel that way and apparently that is what college sports has become. Sportsmanship seems to have lost it's place in college sports. Until recent history student sections were known for being passionate and loud, not classless sheep that repeat one-liners as if working in a sidestreet comedy club. When I was in the Pit Crew we were known for being the loudest student section in the country and were able to get the basketball standards shaking simply from noise and passion. I'd be willing to bet more free throws were missed because of that than a ill-conceived attempt to be humorous. Sadly, recent Pit Crews have become smaller and known less and less as passionate fans, but instead as classless lowbreds.KingofDucks wrote:As Pit Crew VP, although I just finished my last game as a senior, if we get news that a player knocked up his foster sister, we're gonna use it.
