My dream candidates

Post by lukesquared »

My dream candidates (I would like us to go the pro-route):

1. Doug Collins - No way he leaves TNT
2. Byron Scott - This should be our first call. I expect him to say: "Go F- yourself"
3. Jeff Van Gundy - We could pay him a lot more than ESPN
4. Avery Johnson - We could also pay him more than ESPN
5. Jamie Dixon - Say what you want about his "boring" offense....it has produced results and last year's Pittsburgh team was my favorite team to watch in the country.

It's too bad Adelman is currently employed. He would of been the perfect hire. He's one of the best coaches in the history of the NBA and he has an Oregon background with superior knowledge of the state from his days at Chemeketa.
Also, I love Bruce Pearl but I still think he might be blackballed around the country.

You think the pro guys really want to recruit 300 days of the year?

Mike B stated that he would desire collegiate coaching experience. My bet is the new guy will come from the college ranks, or be someone that was once, and recently, highly successful at the college level. Just my opinion.

No. There's no way they want to recruit for 365 days. Lol.
