He's got great game and just singing him would be a great feat after just getting a HC. Now if Altman can talk Humphrey into staying also, I think we are a 20 win team next year.

If he's singing, shouldn't he be on American Idol?buckmarkduck wrote:He's got great game and just singing him would be a great feat after just getting a HC. Now if Altman can talk Humphrey into staying also, I think we are a 20 win team next year.

Looks to me like there is a certain lyrical quality to Polee's game, at that!

I don't think Altman will be able to pull any transfers back in. Wiley is already gone to Boise State, Humphrey got his release and from what I've heard, is going to leave town for good once finals are done, and Crittle is sending tapes of himself and what not to schools near home in the midwest hoping one of them returns his calls.buckmarkduck wrote:He's got great game and just singing him would be a great feat after just getting a HC. I dont know the rules and regs on such matters, but it seems that Wiley is gone.....not a huge deal...Humphrey, if in fact was released, probly couldnt come back, but Crittle might be able to stay (doesnt seem logical that sending tapes of ones self to other schools would be criteria to not be able to stay).DarronThomas1 wrote:I don't think Altman will be able to pull any transfers back in. Mops says Oregon is very much in the picture for Polee. I hope the visit to Oregon blows him away.

He originally committed to USC, and on rivals they list them as offering. UCLA didn't offer, but that's because they can land the best of the best.Boom wrote:So it doesn't look like any of of the California schools offered this kid? that seems odd........
Those are the only two schools where I value their offers. Cal and Stanford offers wouldn't make me feel better about landing Polee.
And he does have offers from all the Pac-10 schools outside of the state of California, so I'll take it!

So me it sounds like the Terrances want to come to Oregon. If they didnt they wouldnt have any reason to put off their commitment date. Its like they keep dragging it out just waiting for Oregon to get coach so they can come here. Could be just me but thats the impression I get. We shall see soon enough.

I definitely think Terrence Ross is headed to UW. Jones is probably trying to decide betwen UW, KU, and UK. I think he ends up at Kansas. I've heard that Ross may not qualify...
Also heard (I'm down in LA) that Polee was going to commit to St. John's last night before Oregon hired Altman. I thought that Polee would end up at UNLV since it's close to home (four and a half hour drive). If Polee has a good visit this weekend, I wouldn't be surprised if he committed to Oregon.
There's also a small chance that he could shock everyone and head back to SC.

“If everybody in this room just want to be real with themselves, this game could have went either way,” he said. “We turned the ball over a lot. We beat ourself. Just be real with yourself right now. We beat ourself.”

If Oregon was completely out of the picture, I think Jones would have already commited to another school.

Jones Mom has always insinuated she would be happiest with him close to home... Which would lead one to believe Oregon or UW would have an advantage.

When he was interviewed during the USA vs World game I heard him say there is no place he would rather live than in OREGON! Take it for what its worth I guess.woundedknees wrote:Jones Mom has always insinuated she would be happiest with him close to home...
