Harper Question

Post by MFRDuckFan »

I am wondering..........why does Chris Harper wear the white sleeves? They are loose fitting at well, not snug like the other Under Armour shirts. This is just my opinion, but it's a big WHITE flag to the D that you need to be prepared for something wild to happen. Even if it doesn't, it puts them on alert. I understand that maybe it's a tool for the QB's to keep track of him or something of the sort? Maybe we can switch it out this next year.

Just a thought.

Maybe he has tattoos? A lot of NBA players wear sleeves to cover ink supposedly; Kobe for example. Maybe the trend is coming to football?

More than likely he just thinks it looks cool

Dark horse option? He has poor circulation, so he uses them to keep warm?

I think its either because of explicate tattoos or that he thinks its the new style.

I don't think it's anything to do with being a QB, I don't see any other QBs always wearing one.

Maybe he just got used to wearing them in cold weather in Kansas and now he dosen't feel right without them

Similar question, why did Nick Reed always wear those awful grey sleeves under his jersey. If he had a grey t-shirt that was lucky for him or something why not cut off the sleeves or tuck them in?

Yeah, i figured it was a lucky shirt or something, but with all the killer gear our guys have access to I always thought it was funny that he looked like a highschool kid out there with his sleeves hanging out...

Anyone remember how Brady leaf had loose-fitting jersey sleeves?

A thread on Chris Harper's sleeves getting 10+ replies either means that this new forum is doing really well, or everyone on here just has too much time on their hands

I think its cool on how much choices players have on what they get to wear on game day.

I'd like to see some sort of list of ALL the available products for them.

I was just hoping we could get him to change the color. Especially if we start to use him in more slippery ways. I don't want to give the D any heads up. I'd like him to be put in like a secret weapon and they don't know what hit them. The white sleeves kind of gives it away. But, if the shirt is lucky to him............it stays.

That would be really cool to see all the gear these guys have access to. Having all of it would be even cooler
