That seems hopeful if they haven't offered yet. Not for him obviously, but evidently they still feel like they have a shot with a few receivers, at least.
Cristobal, Arroyo, and Johnson were working hard on Battle last night. Heyward was supposedly in Harrison's ear as soon as he got back from Tallahassee but it's not looking good due
Harrison's HS coach being a big factor (he's a Husky fan and is being anyone-but-Oregon.) Ezeike is down to SC and Oregon with him saying Oregon's coaches have been on him the most. Oregon is fighting hard down the stretch so you can't say they weren't trying their darnedest.
How do you know this?

The Scoopduck membership is worth it, imo. The Williams thing is because Williams actually did visit USC last minute, and it was kept pretty hush-hush. I can see why Oregon fans would get nervous. Last minute visits are always scary. As mentioned, the Scoopduck folks are pretty confident we get Williams. I assume the coaches are too.

If he really did go on a hush hush visit afterwards to USC this late in the game, after he tweeted those were just rumors, then its definitely not a good sign for us. Also he hasn't posted any pics of him from his UO visit. Hoping he's just adding more suspense to add to his UO commitment.

I had the same thought, but apparently it is rumored that UW flipped a DT commit of theirs, so a scholly opened up. Anyway, we'll see. The late news is not good.
It sounds like they're basically at the 85 scholarship limit right now, which means they looking to free up 4-5 scholarships either by dropping commits or forcing medical retirements.
It surprising when ever that happens to USC late in the game. It sucks that Tuli flipped to UW so that USC has an extra scholarship at their disposable and try to get our WRs. What's even worse is UW getting an elite talent because those guys can actually coach well and and develop elite player to their full potential.

So of all the visitors this month, it looks like they'll only close with Crocker and Tucker. What a waste.

If we close this DT Tuitele from Hawaii that's visiting this week for 2019, it sure won't be.

I wasn't sure where to stick this, but here's a site that tracks available grad transfers:
https://gradtransfertracker.com/potential-transfers/
Not much out there at the moment. The highlight would probably be Hawaii WR Dylan Collie, who's had a few very nice seasons. He appears to be considering Tennessee, Vanderbilt and BYU. Does't look like Oregon is pursuing but he's a guy with 120 career catches for 1300 yards.
CJ Sanders from Notre Dame, also appears to be heading to the state of Tennessee.
Raelon Singleton from Utah is another decent WR. But we can't get him because Utah blocked him from transferring to school's on Utah's schedule. Wish we could have done that with Carrington.
Looking at DBs, Juwan Dowels from Syracuse is a potential target.
Slim pickings out there at the moment, but we could really use a DB, WR or DL grad transfer to shore up depth for next year.

I don't think you can block a grad transfer.

Sorry, can't figure out how to embed a tweet but apparently you can block which schools they can talk to:
https://twitter.com/Raelon_S/status/956596673563721728 And it looks like he's trying to get back closer to home in Texas.
Oregon is kicking the tires on another transfer, not a graduate transfer and couldn't play until 2019: Texas WR Reggie Hemphill-Mapps. As a freshman for Texas in 2017 he caught 37 passes for 400 yards. Not sure why he's transferring, but I'd much rather take a proven commodity at the P-5 level then a high school kid who could be a bust.
Sucks missing out on Jonathan Gilles last year, he could have really made a difference for 2018.

If we would have blocked Carrington from Utah, then Ugo would never have picked his pocket and taken it to the house for 7. We kicked Utah's butt. It was sweet. Glad Carrington was a part of it.

We should also work hard to get Tua's younger brother here, even tho I read his talent level and upside isn't as high as that of Tua's during high school. But it would be great to jump start that poly, hawaii, and st. louis connection again.
