Hopefully over the injury bug after being out the better part of the last two seasons.OregonFan4Life wrote: Wed Dec 18, 2024 11:24 am TE Jamari Johnson commits to Oregon, he has 3 years of eligibility.
Sadiq, Johnson and the starting receivers together on the field as a package is crazyPhalanx wrote:Hopefully over the injury bug after being out the better part of the last two seasons.OregonFan4Life wrote: Wed Dec 18, 2024 11:24 am TE Jamari Johnson commits to Oregon, he has 3 years of eligibility.
I think he left Colorado before Deion took over.Phalanx wrote: Wed Dec 18, 2024 10:54 am Good news. I imagine O-linemen are hard to find in the portal, so glad they found a decent one. Interesting that he used to be at Colorado; I'm guessing he was one of the myriad of cuts Deion made when he got there? If so, it has to be gratifying to be able to make his way back on an even better team.
Yeah, I'm not sure. This is what one article said:bellsduck wrote: Wed Dec 18, 2024 3:40 pmI think he left Colorado before Deion took over.Phalanx wrote: Wed Dec 18, 2024 10:54 am Good news. I think Sadiq starts at Y in 11 sets replacing Ferguson and that Johnson looks like a Herbert replacement to me. I think if the team adds another TE that player might also be someone who they can move around at H and maybe play as a FB replacing walk-on Zach Grace and I honestly wouldn't be surprised at all if they did add another TE on the basis that Sadiq and another TE could also be draft eligible guys and the following years Depth Chart is something like Johnson, Ploog, Saleapaga, Kendre Harrison.StevensTechU wrote: Wed Dec 18, 2024 12:50 pm What do the recruitniks say with regard to Johnson committing? Are we still pushing for Max Klare or another highly regarded TE?
I wonder if Harney might move inside. Seems like he and Bedford could both play guard or tackle, while maybe neither is a world beater at either (or World beater, in the case of Isaiah).

Deion was named head coach of Colorado December 3, 2022. He opened up Spring practices on March 20, 2023 and already had brought in 40 new players by then.Duck07 wrote: Wed Dec 18, 2024 7:03 pmYesbellsduck wrote: Wed Dec 18, 2024 3:40 pmI think he left Colorado before Deion took over.Phalanx wrote: Wed Dec 18, 2024 10:54 am Good news. Welp, goodbye Conerly, but not a bad replacement.StevensTechU wrote: Wed Dec 18, 2024 9:19 pm Quack quack. Ducks land Isaiah World. Massive kid with light feet. Sort of reminds me of Conerly before Conerly started playing with more of an edge.

Yup! Good stuff. Adding World is as ideal as we could ask!greenyellow wrote: Wed Dec 18, 2024 9:50 pm Oregon with two of the top 6 OTs in the portal so far. Probably couldn't have gone any better so far.
