I think in the end we have proven more on the field with our running game and the fact that we are a top team in the PAC10 will seal this deal for us! With that said, how can a RB, who wants the ball in his hands and is a big time playmaker, not want to play for us? We just have so much speed and talent at the skill positions...its ridiculous!!

Agreed but they are a horrible rushing team and they can't defend that too much thankfully! Thank God BB likes stats!

Brown sounds like a great kid. That interview made it sound like he won't choose Miami, and Oregon has the best shot. Let's hope it stays that way.

Half the time he sounds like a great kid (that interview, the SI article, stuff like that), and the other half, he sounds like a jerk (NY Times article). I don't really know what to think about his character. I just know he's talented as hell

Love how he describes his relationship with CK. Sounds like he's ready to spend 3-4 years learning about more than football from our coaching staff.

Thanks again jhop, ya that sounds great for us and he is clearly putting a lot of thought into it...too much maybe but I like our chances! I love his attitude about work ethic and wanting the team to be able to push him and doesn't necessarily want to be "the man" if he doesn't earn it!
Clearly he is questioning every other program but pretty much knows what we, UM, SC have to offer...
Good stuff...now we just have to wait it out!

I can't read a 18 year old kids mind but if I'm a Oregon coach I love what I just heard. On the other hand if I am a Miami coach I got to be thinking what did we do wrong to lose this kid? It doesn't sound like the OC did a very good job of selling his style of football. Without a crystal ball I'm not going to predict sucess but that interview did put a smile on my face.

Wow. Exciting interview. I was starting to lose hope on this one. But, it sure sounds good for Brown being a Duck. Would be huge!

Haha! The NY Times mission as an organization is to make people sound like jerks when they are not and vice versa.
