With the combine over a quick recap of how the players fared.
Offense:
Dillon showed good arm strength and did well on the intermediate throws but also looked like he struggled with letting rip with new WRs on the field. Don't be surprised if former Duck Tyler Shough gets his name called first though.
Jordan James didn't do agility testing and had okay speed numbers that are inline with expectations for what we saw on the field (4.55/40).
Tez, well Tez was kind of all over the place and I just learned he got engaged while wearing his "i'm mowing the lawn shoes" so congrats.
Holden, like James also didn't agility and had okay numbers, but he doesn't have the film that James does so he might be the only one invited that doesn't get drafted.
Ferguson had a really great showing with the top 40, Vertical 10yd split for the TE group and credit to Wilson Love for seemingly having a noticeable effect on how some of these guys performed. He might sneak into the back-end of Round 2 if a team likes him that much.
Josh performed very well on the athletic side of the charts but I still think he could have been a Top 10 LT had he come back since he just needs to get stronger to handle the DE/Edges in the league. He won't make it to the 3rd but I don't know if he'll end up in the 1st or not.
Ajani interviewed but didn't work out. Not sure if he was injured or saving it for Pro Day.
Defense:
Burch came in 2 inches shorter than the 6'6" we had listed him at and his 40 is still impressive at the lighter weight. He's probably in a similar range as Connerly in that he may not go 1st but probably doesn't make it to the 3rd.
Harmon will get the attention for his 40 time but it was this drill that really stood out for how smooth he was.
Jamaree didn't do any agility tests but his on field drills showed him moving well as he's a 2-down run stopper so not an early choice but he shouldn't be an end of draft guy either. (Again, some kudos to Love because these drills are known ahead of time and the players seemed to do them all well)
Bassa showed he's got the speed to play LB but he's still got to add some size.
They tried to take 6" off Jabbar's Vertical before it got corrected, 29.5 when it was 35.5. I think he'll be a pesky mid/late round DB but nothing about his workout will vault him up the boards.

The Tez numbers are odd. Especially seeing that MPH fact. It does remind me of DAT though who was expected to put up an insane 40 time but in reality, his “speed” was more a result of his elite acceleration and agility, not straight line speed.

Denver signing linebacker Dre Greenlaw and safety Talanoa Hufanga both of the 49ers, they could both be great signings if they can stay healthy after both being hurt most of last year

Nice read on Nikko Reed making a strong bid for a roster spot as a UDFA with the Chargers.

I especially like the bit about Reed making the pick on DJU in practice.
Meanwhile, sounds like Tez is punching above his draft pick status in Tampa as well. It's a deep WR roster, so grabbing a spot might be difficult.

Anyone have any kind of comprehensive list of Ducks that are on preseason rosters? CBS used to have a good database but I can't seem to locate it, so they've possibly retired it.
Edit: This seems largely accurate:

I didn't catch either game, but looking at box scores, it looks like Dillon Gabriel had a solid showing and Troy Franklin had a really good night with two TDs. Trikweze Bridges had a bunch of tackles for LA, but not sure if that means he gave up a bunch of catches.

It sounds like Bridges won’t make the team, because Nikko Reed is beating him out.

I wouldn't be the least but surprised if Nikko ends up being the next Troy Hill (a guy who you don't appreciate while in college because of the lack of physical attributes but is actually really damn good).
Looks like Tez had a solid night as both a receiver and returner for Tampa.

Seems like they want Tez to win a spot but he fumbled a punt return last night and didn't field one that cost Tampa field position. Fans aren't loving him

Oh yikes. I pulled up a highlight reel of his night that included some missed catches (generally uncatchable) and, well, those things were omitted.
