Potentially 6-8 spots open or 5-7 if Lamar was one of the "silent" commits that another recruit mentioned after Steven Jones pledged.
The class is supposed be around 28 to 29 so there's still 6-7 spots left. I think they'll try to finish the class out with 1 QB, 2 WRs, 1 OL, 1 DL, and 1 DB. If they can somehow squeeze 30 in, I could see them taking another LB or DB.

I saw a headline about some linebacker who has Oregon near the top of his list on dt, but then when I went back to read it I couldn't find it. It said something about being one of the top linebackers, anybody know about this?

Anyone else see rivals bump 3 of our 3* commits to 4*? I figured someone mention it somewhere, maybe I missed it? We now have 14 4* commits, looks like we will for sure have the best recruiting class ever at UO. I love this staff, is there anyone cooler that Taggart? Excited to see who else we'll get!

It's not undeserved. He looks like a really good prospect.

Still a long time before December or February. I am not sure how the early signing will effect the Ducks. Anyone have any ideas if most of the kids will sign in December or will they wait til February. Last few years Oregon not been able to close. I hope with this staff they know the importance of closing,

I get the feeling this staff will be able to close really well. I think we'll see quite a few commits sign in December, hard to put a number on it though.

Webb must be one smart cookie, you see the ivy league offers he has?

I saw that too. Those are tough offers to turn down

There is no such thing as a football scholarship to an Ivy league school and I doubt the "offer" is a full financial aid package based on his academics.

My cousin was an athlete at an Ivy and the coach really wanted her, thus she got a generous "need-based" financial aid package. Her parents made a combined income over $150k+ and it cost her less to go to the Ivy than a public school.

Since Webb is a top athlete in a major sport, he'd likely get a full ride. There's a reason why Harvard basketball has been able to pull some pretty good recruits recently.

Webb is going to have an opportunity to play early at Oregon.
“If everybody in this room just want to be real with themselves, this game could have went either way,” he said. “We turned the ball over a lot. We beat ourself. Just be real with yourself right now. We beat ourself.”
-Jameis Winston after Oregon's decisive 59-20 victory over Florida State in the Rose Bowl
