I saw that West Linn's Hunter Haines (safety) picked up an offer, but I didn't see if it was a PWO or scholarship.

Wording makes me think PWO, but he's a damn good player. Had Oregon quality speed, and very skilled, just a light build for a safety at this level.

I was at the Semifinal game against CC and he strikes me as a possible late bloomer.

NIL for a priority instate PWO seems like an easy option for the Boosters to help build depth on the back end.

What measurements are you expecting for a D1 safety? I feel like 6'1" 190 (according to his Twitter profile) is pretty reasonable. Brady Breeze, by comparison, was 6'0" 185 coming out of HS. Give Haines a year at Oregon and he should be a lean 200.

Completely going off just having watched his Hudl for his senior year and the photos I've seen standing next to Lanning. He looks 6' 175. Maybe Danimal is bigger than I realize.

I have no idea how tall Lanning is but standing next to players I always kinda thought he was in the 6'3, 6'4 range

Odd. He looks bigger next to players taller than that. Thank you.

Any insight on how the visit from Walter Nolan went? I was hoping he’d commit over the weekend.

Jhop said it went well and the Ducks are in good shape but a commitment isn't imminent.

I'm curious how a Portal visit works these days as I imagine the Ducks Rising collective also has a "visit" with these guys at some point (obv Gabriel confirmed on site) during their trip.

"here's a similar offer to a similar QB that we've used in the past with pay structure, etc..."

I’ve attended a number of team walk throughs (“march to victory”) in the Mo Center and believe that there is height and weight inflation. There are some really tiny (but extremely athletic/fast and talented) football players. They better avoid a big collision over the middle…

It would be interesting to compare recent player heights on the Oregon roster vs. the NFL combine.

Based on my extensive knowledge by....errrr, cruising the internet, it appears he is going to take his time. It's my opinion he is going to visit multiple schools before making his decision.
