So looking at our other players (outside of our core 3) that got double digit minutes last season:
TJ Bamba
Keeshawn Barthelemy
Brandon Angel
Jadrian Tracey
Supreme Cook

Can these 5 match that?
Jamari Phillips
TK Simpkins
Dez Lindsay
Devon Pryor
Sean Stewart

And if we're being honest, Bamba was a disappointment for most the year. Brandon Angel disappeared in the 2nd half of the season. Tracey/Cook IMO are typical role players that are replaceable. The only piece that is probably noticeably better than anything we have this year is Bathelemy's shooting and ball handling skills (He lead our team in 3PT shooting and AST-TO ratio).

But can Stewart play as well as Cook? Can Dez be as effective as Angel? Can Pryor be a role player like Tracey has been? We'll see...

Supreme Cook was objectively one of the worst players playing regular minutes for any quad 1 team last season. That can't be the bar for Stewart. The other four underwhelmed, too. We'll miss Bamba's defense and Barthelemy's three point shooting, but both of those players were severely limited in other ways. I feel like none of those five players are leaving very big shoes to fill.

That said, it definitely feels like the roster, as currently constructed, has a wider-than-normal band of possible outcomes. The ceiling is definitely high because of the big three coming back, but the floor is lower than it should be with so many unknown quantities. It'll be fun to see what we've got with Lindsay/Phillips/Simpkins/Stewart/Pryor/Frakes.

Last year really shouldn't be the goal though....not hitting on a SG in the portal is going to kill this team unless there's a big surprise or Jamari Phillips makes an immense awareness leap.

Not having another serviceable big man behind Bittle is a big miss as well. Last year feels like a fluke with how healthy he was throughout the season. I get nervous anytime he takes a hit or falls still.

I think the intent is for Stewart to take on that role. He’s not a traditional big man, but fits more in the mold of a Bell/Wooten type, which obviously has seen a lot of success at Oregon in the past. Just don’t think he has the perimeter game to be able to play the 4 in Altman’s scheme, so I’m assuming he’s being ticketed as a 5. Making some assumptions based on what my OSU buddy said about him and what I’ve read about him in terms of his skillset, as I haven’t watched tape on him.

Nice late big man addition for Altman. Wouldn't expect much scoring from him but he should provide some rebounding and physicality. Have to think Oregon likely has their full roster for next season unless they find a reclassifier or another international player.

Don't know what exactly Oregon has gotten in their latest addition from Turkey but his video does show he's got some athleticism and skill. Should be interesting to see what Oregon's frontcourt rotation looks like this season.

Yeah, looks like everyone is in but him at this point. I know international transcripts can be tricky.

Also curious where Dez Lindsey is at game wise and if Jamari Phillips has improved/

Normally I wouldn't be too concerned about it, but Demir has already had issues in the past coming over. At this point, I'll hope for the best, but expect the worst!

Interesting. It ultimately, like in every season, is how DA gets the most out of his guys, and their strengths. Agree that with the financial backing, they should be able to bring in better talent. Really looking forward to seeing what the 6-10 Turkish dude can add. Bittle and Shelstad have to carry them again. God forbid any long term injury to either.
