Re: HS All Star Games Thread
Hopefully it turns out they all the NC guys come out this way like the DLS class of 04. Cam told me that when they were in school and it was DWills SR year, that they all just knew then that they would all end up at Oregon, all of em. Allen likes Alabama, but hopefully his parents reconsider that he'd rather play with all his buddies instead. Besides, its not like a rookie safety from Oregon just finished as a ProBowler tied for the lead in interceptions this year.

im sorry to say this, but gabe has a change of mind. he was a silent and now it appears hes not heading to oregon, per Curtis White. Too bad, we can't recruit on the dline. This means, we need to go all out after that d tackle from washington, along with owa. This in home visit with owa will be critical! Lache Seastrunk is all Oregon btw.

gotta be back to Cal as the leader with the final three being UO, Cal, and USC. Can't imagine it's USC after the last couple days, but who knows. Maybe with Powell going to Florida he's more likely to choose USC.chapelhillduck wrote:so where is the rumor mill say Gabe is going?

reading the post headlines on Talefeathers it sounds like it is Cal - one of the posts has mention of getting a good education and another about him wearing Cal gear around school this past weekpikestick wrote:gotta be back to Cal as the leader with the final three being UO, Cal, and USC. So if we don't get any more DE, could that be Curtis's position here?

Holy crap that's awful news, we need GK...we still have a few weeks to change his mind! I agree we need the DT from Wash and Owa!nateduck123 wrote:im sorry to say this, but gabe has a change of mind. he was a silent and now it appears hes not heading to oregon, per Curtis White. Re: HS All Star Games Thread
with the TE depth we already have, I am definitely hoping that's a strong consideration. As good as he can be as a TE, it seems like he would be much more useful to the team as a DEchapelhillduck wrote:So if we don't get any more DE, could that be Curtis's position here?

Re: HS All Star Games Thread
i don't necessarily see this as bad. I didn't think we'd get Owa AND King. if i had to choose between gabe and owa, i'd take owa. We've got good depth already at DE, which is why DT is so important to get. If we lure Sione P from uw, it to me is a bigger grab than if we got King; while also kicking holt and sark in the nuts, double win.
curtis i imagine, is going to play wherever he ends being the most dominate at. Ed played DE his rs frosh year because the depth wasn't there.

Re: HS All Star Games Thread
What is it about Oregon that they can't attract any high level DT talent. We can get DEs a dime a dozen but it's like pulling teeth in getting DTs to come to Oregon.
