He runs a 4.7 and is only 5'10... Hopefully he's quick and can hit hard, because that's not promising. But you gotta trust the coaches

he doesnt run a 4.5, he went to a combine in atlanta and ran a 4.72, thats pretty damn slow for someone his size

One things for certain, he will have played against some serious talent down there. We like those hard hitting safeties. If that's his style.

did you know that the starting qb who won the first 2 of their 4 consecutive st. championships was john-parker wilson the starting qb for alabama this year. his younger bro ross was the qb featured in the show. also they had the had a five star and number 3 rated wr named chad jackson when they won their first championship but i never heard of him doing anything in college.

wow thats impressive. i knew he played for pats because i saw him in a new england uni but i didnt realize he was that good in college and i didnt know he was drafted that early. thanks for the info

just curious, when you say the ducks will do better, what would happen if this guy would have committed? would we of lost someone who was better.

Two a days was filmed at the minor league baseball ballpark I run concessions for, and believe me the Hoover program isn't what it appeared to be on the show. The coach, Rush Propst was fired last year after it was discovered that he was grade tampering, banging secretaries, pocketing money from summer camps and had a second family in a town about an hour away. I know and have had several players and former players work for me and they HATED that guy with a passion. Remember the scene in Varsity Blues where the coach threatens to cost players their schollies if they don't do what he says, when he says to do it? That s*** happened routinely at Hoover.

haha good stuff. form watching the show i figured that coach was that way.

he sounded like a real d-bag on tv. he even mention making sure that kids dont get into a good college after they lost a game lol.

Brian Jackson sounds like a good kid and a guy we could certainly use. He was named the Birmingham player of the year and was the defensive leader for the storied Hoover program. Heres a good piece I found on him....

Hey...MOPS said in a reply earlier in this thread that he thought we'd do better than this guy and that he'd spill in chat and I had to work during chat..was wondering if anyone could fill me in on who he was talking about?
