Re: ASU Rebranding
The gray helmets are sweet IMO... I like the combo of the middle guy ^^
On a side note, the grey/black Mizz helmets are flippin awesome.

They don't look that great, IMO. At least not on the Cougs.

Re: ASU Rebranding
ASU doesn't look too bad, just introduced a new pitchfork that looks more like a nautical trident and put more black on the unis.
Here's a link for more pictures of the unis: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2 ... 2208101853

I pretty much lost it when I read this tweet: (read, then click on link)

Re: ASU Rebranding
Heh.
Improved uniforms. But, some issues, imo. The "ASU" on the sleaves doesn't seem to fit. Wrong font. Too large. Not enough space from the line on the sleave. Would have been better with a micro-sized logo there or no logo at all on the sleave.
I don't really like the black with the rest of their colors. The pitchfork on the helmet is placed at a goofy angle.
Still. Improved on what they had.

Re: ASU Rebranding
Yeah, count me in on not liking the "ASU" on the sleeves. Putting either numbers there or just having the new pitchfork would have worked better. I don't think the black goes with them, although they do have a history of black helmets and uniforms (during the 50s or 60s) so it's not entirely out of place. I think having maybe a maroon or white helmet would have looked better, but black is the all the rage right now for athletes and schools.wheaton4prez wrote:Heh.

The redesigned "pitchfork" sure looks like a trident to me.

Re: ASU Rebranding
After reading a couple different ASU fanboards, I think they have the same conclusion as us outsiders. I'll have to find out from a couple family friends who are big ASU fans how they feel about it and the new uniforms.maxduck wrote:The redesigned "pitchfork" sure looks like a trident to me.

Still undecided. Sick new logo and colors but not a fan of the ASU on the shoulder like previously said. One thing I do LOVE is the PT 42 on the collar.
