This Sheridan guy sounds like he's full of s***. It's possible that Auburn did pay Cecil Newton $180k, but I highly doubt an Alabama grad just happens to know who the "bag man" was. Sheridan does not seem credible at all and appears to be another Alabama fan who is making false accusations about his school's rival. This is very similar to the Washington fans who claim to know of all of the illegal things going on at Oregon.

And were worrying about what's going on at Auburn because?
Oregon played them last year and lost by a field goal. It's a new
season let's turn our attention to this years games. Even if Cam did
get paid were not getting that trophy. Let's move on...

It was a big story from last season that didn't seem to be resolved. I think that if there really is a new development, it would be newsworthy to most people who follow CFB in general.

I can see what your saying. And i watch enough CFB to have the
wife threaten divorce. It just sometimes seems like we beat these dead
horse's to death. Hell what went on at Auburn is far cry from what's gonna
come down at the U. And yes it is interesting to say the least...

It's interesting how, as soon as actual games start up again, these off-season stories tend to take a back seat.
