USC payed Bush to play,
Actually a wanna be agent furnished the money. SC just looked the other way.
that cop did the best he could to turn the other way when he smelled weed in the car. If there was ANYONE else in that car, including a team player that his name is so recognizable, the dogs would have been called in and that car would have been torn apart looking for weed.
In Oregon possession of less than an ounce is a non criminal violation subject to a fine up to $1,000. I think the speeding ticket was more than that.

I need to move to Oregon then

The ticket alone would have been subject to jail time down here.

Yeah…because we would never sit or kick off a star quarterback because he got in a bar fight

Guess you never heard of Ryan Perrilloux. He was WAY more talented then JJ and he got the bounce with the quickness after a bar fight...and other team violations.

I love you Pac 12 homers that think the SEC is sooooooooooo dirty. By my count we are the only big conference that does not have one team in hot water right now.

ETA: check that...BIG XII is good too
Who was the guy at Florida that got in trouble ( DUI ? assault ?) and was suspeneded a whole first quarter last year.

So a kid at one school gets in trouble and receives a slap on the wrist and a whole fricking conference is dirty  ...USC payed Bush to play, does that mean y'all payed James??

Are you referring to Jenkins? I remember him getting a game suspension for something…maybe weed…I’ll look into it.

ETA: Florida does what Florida want BTW…they are notorious in the SEC for not punishing correctly and basically every other “well it is the SEC” complaint that other conferences complain about…I really hate those guys.
Forgot about Garcia. Suspended 5 times, that's 5 times ? And is going to start the season for SC.... Unreal !

Only player that I can find that got suspended for a DUI was Hammond…and he got more than a “quarter suspension” Gators' Frankie Hammond suspended for season opener
Florida WR Frankie Hammond, Jr. has been suspended for Florida's season opener on Saturday. The suspension is an extension of the punishment Hammond is already receiving after he was arrested in June on charges of DUI.

Hammond has lost his scholarship, and is currently paying his own tuition and books at UF. His indefinite suspension was lifted at the beginning of fall camp, but UF coach Urban Meyer said Thursday he will not play in Saturday's game against Miami of Ohio.

"It’s week-to-week, like I said a few months ago,'' Meyer said. “It’s being evaluated, and the same thing with his scholarship. The reason why I let you know that is because it was a public deal and a very serious deal. The good news about Frankie is he’s doing everything we ask, which you’d imagine he would.''

Hammond had been expected to compete for a starting job, and Florida receivers coach Zach Azzanni said Hammond has had an excellent fall camp.

There seems to be issues with Garcia and The Old Ball coach…the dude is constantly getting suspended for running his mouth and violating team policies…not illegal stuff.

Why he suspended last time...
Spurrier would not get into details of why Garcia was suspended — just weeks after promising he would not get into any additional trouble — but ESPN.com reports that Garcia was “disruptive and loud at a mandatory leadership seminar on Tuesday” and that “alcohol could be detected on Garcia’s breath and he was asked to leave the event.” According to Chris Low of ESPN.com, Garcia later told Spurrier that he’d been drinking in celebration of teammate Kyle Nunn’s birthday.

A guy (Good Ole Boy from South Carolina) I knew in the 80's (Yeah I'm that old!) left Oregon on short notice, with an underage girlfriend and a small bag of weed. My boss got a phone call from Texas, a couple weeks later... Seems the dude got arrested in Texas.

They were sending the runaway he was rolling with home to his her family, but were offering to send him back to Oregon if we would guarantee him his job back.

Otherwise, the judge was threatening to slap him in jail for 10 years, on a possession charge.

He didn't get his job back, but I heard later he went home to SC, where his Mom got him a job cooking at a Bed and Breakfast.

Has nothing to do with football, but even then, Oregon mj laws were considerably different than those in more conservative parts of the country.

He's been arrested multiple times, these are just the first two.

"Spring of 2007, Garcia was suspended twice from practice after being arrested in February for public intoxication and, in March, for keying a professor's car.[2] These charges were dropped after Garcia made restitution to the professor and completed a pre-trial intervention program.[3] In March 2008, Garcia and two teammates were arrested and cited for underage drinking and causing a disturbance."

Carlos Dunlap was asleep in his car in the middle of the road drunk out of his mind and got suspended for a game by Florida which was to be thier opener against Florida International.....There was a hurricane and the game was changed to Nov and so was Dunlap's suspension...

Also there was the eye gouging where Florida suspended him for a quarter but Spikes then changed his own punishment to a full game after all the backlash

Pretty sure that's a shot at Darron Thomas. Hence the hashtags for "not at all" and "leader".

Since he wasn't arrested I would bet a lot of money that he is not suspended
