Farmer is starting because SC and Kiff are trying everything they can, short of running the spread, to copy what CK does. They figure just putting a super fast kid at RB will be the answer.

If Jesse Palmer utters the phrase "his brother" one more time...

I love how none of our wins so far look good... We need to smash ASU.

SC looked like crap also tonight, if Cal hadn't just given the ball away time and again it would have been much closer. Really I still don't think anyone outside of Stanford and UO are top 25 teams in the Pac 12 this year.

I loved how the one time Maynard made the difference on a scoring play, the announcers got excited as if it was expected...

I was pretty impressed with Marquis Lee. Wish we would have landed him and Farmer last year.

Has anyone wasted more talent than Cal? They remind me of Oregon from 02-05. Tons of talent but still go 7-6 every year

It's shocking how bad a QB Maynard is (at this level)... It really goes to show how good some these college QBs really are when you compare them to an average Joe off the street (Maynard).....
Unbelievable.

There's probably a reason why he went to Buffalo out of high school instead of a BCS school.

It's too bad he doesn't have more brothers to throw to.

They have established a special sense of timing, developed over years of back-yard football.

Haha the announcers have def. talked about them being brothers too much the last two weeks. Hopefully Cal not on t.v. anymore this year, also the fact how bad Maynard is is too much to watch.
