Re: Michael Philipp update
I certainly cannot fault anyone for choosing Stanford. If football doesn't work out for these guys, saying you have a degree from Stanford is huge.

Duckgrad99, with your Avatar looking at me everytime I read one of your posts I feel like Chip Kelly is ready to yell at me. I almost drop and start doing push-ups cuz its like High School football all over again. "Sorry coach, what did I do wrong this time?"

Re: Michael Philipp update
Yeah, I have seen many people express similar sentiments to you and sickaduck. I hope Charles does not have a great career, not because I wish him any ill will (I have talked to Charles in the past and he seems like a nice kid), but because I am sick of Cal.Mops wrote:Siddoway is vastly over rated. Not very impressive skill wise against a poor talent pool in Oregon.
That being said, Cal recruits very well, particularly on the offensive line, and they have a history of success with the offensive linemen they recruit. The fact they have given Charles a scholarship speaks for itself. It will be very interesting to track the career of Siddoway and see how it compares to someone like Burrell.

Re: Michael Philipp update
It sounds as though this could be bad for the Ducks from a fan perspective but from the coaches do they sign Burrell because of the "signs" not looking good for Philipp?
