The thing that surprised me was that the Big 10 got 7 teams in the tournament. Most of the predictions that I saw had them only getting 5 the tournament.

St Mary's beats Washington State tonight in NIT action. If Patrick Mills didn't get hurt, they are definitely a tournament team.
