I'd be very uneasy about our run game. LMJ, Crenshaw, Alston aren't power backs. We'd be very one dimensional. But at the same time, it could open it up for guys like Chris Harper or Malachi Lewis (Or even Masoli for that matter!) to step in.
Still, I think Blount is the most valuable player on this team. If anyone thinks otherwise, please share why.

I would agree. The reason being, it's the only position where the depth/experience behind the starter isn't very good. Almost every other position has 2-3 guys behind the starter that are very capable. If Blount goes down we have a frosh & two backs that really don't have the skill or talent to be a starting RB or at least have never proven it.
Crenshaw has more game proven credibility than any of our Wide Receivers besides Maehl. And really more than our backup quarterbacks. He has 2 100 yard games in a reserve role and a solid yards per carry. Though he is a speed back, he runs well in traffic. He won't break tackles like Blount but who does?
Blount finished the year at a little over 7 yards a carry. With Masoli at QB I think Crenshaw could easily average 6. (remember 4.8 gets you conference player of the year). I think the drop off in our running game would be greater if we lost Masoli than if we lost Blount.
Losing Masoli would not only mean a big drop in yards from the QB position, but also from the running backs. Both Blount and JJ's yards per carry went up by 2 in the second half of the season once the coaches discovered Masoli could run the zone read and it became our main play.

If we stick to playing Left and Right Cornerback it will be even easier for the offense to avoid him, they won't even have to checkoff at the line. I would like to see Oregon move him and have him match up with the other teams best receiver.
