Was last year's defense Allioti's fault?

My two cents will be as it has been since been coming to this forum in regards to Allow A Lot E... he can blame it on whatever he wants the bottom line at the end of the day the year the decade the century.. whatever.. he is still a hinderance to the ducks. He always has an excuse for everything as one poster already mentioned. My question is this... Why does our offense need to score 50-60 points just to be able to win a game. We had to do that not once... but couple times this last year. Those are unrealistic expectations to have to put on any offense. We have a great offense and Allow A Lot E.. needs to pick up his defense a notch.. or pick up his things and leave so that we can reach the goal of becoming national champions. If was up to me.. would give him this year if not drastic improvements.. he be let go.. period.
