Re: James Louis giving Oregon a look?
Keion is a pretty good player. He is a pure corner and has the athleticism to be a very good lock down corner. I like Tony Grimes a little more though, Hopefully Tony gets an offer soon and makes it to the spring game. He really like UGA's campus and facilities so I know he will like Oregon. It all comes down to who the coaches want to take, they have a lot of options right now. In teh spring they will get to evaluate them a little better.

Yes primedime, welcome aboard. It's great to have you here.Mops wrote:Primedime, I'd like to thank you for making the move over to DucksAttack.com!primedime wrote:It seems the coaches really like this kid Issac Dixon from Miami Pace at Safety. For the spring game he will be in town and so will Ethan again. I think Tony Grimes is coming out too but it is not definite. Keion Payne from St. Thomas also called the coaches and said if offered it would be hard to say no. Seems the Ducks have a lot of options and should be down here in May to evaluate these kids. They are almost in a position that they have too many kids who want to come and not enough spots.

Dixon's profile. http://oregon.scout.com/a.z?s=128&p=8&c=1&nid=4208524
5'11 190lb LB, 4.55 40.
Scout doesn't have much on him, no offer list or anything. If the coaches like him, then I would sure like to see some more info on him.
Payne's profile. http://oregon.scout.com/a.z?s=128&p=8&c=1&nid=4142595
Offers from FSU, UGA, and Ole Miss
I like the offers for Payne. Good name for a DB as well.
You have to love how much Grant seems to be involved in recruiting this year. What a great guy to get committed early. I don't see him having a change of heart this year.

To be truthful South Florida is loaded this year and kids are popping up every week. Guys like Issac in normal recruiting years are close to the top. Not much info on Issac because Scout and Rivals don't know how to evaluate talent. Just like there was none on David or Ethan before. WHen you can only attend 2-3 events the whole year working for scout and rivals you tend to not be looking for hidden talent because your too busy talking to the big names. Most of these guys don't even attend games. I wouldn't put much stock in scout or rivals.

Thanks for the info. I understand what you are saying. It is unfortunate how the main recruiting services work but it is understandable. It is nice to get some info from guys like yourself to help bridge the gap.primedime wrote:To be truthful South Florida is loaded this year and kids are popping up every week. Re: James Louis giving Oregon a look?
What about David Perry? Is he still planning on making an unofficial visit to Oregon? Shortly after Ethan Grant's visit to Oregon there was talk that David Perry was planning on making an unofficial visit to Oregon with his parents, but I haven't heard anything regarding that lately.primedime wrote:It seems the coaches really like this kid Issac Dixon from Miami Pace at Safety. Cool, thanks for the update. Do you know if he plans on bringing any family members with him? One of the best things about Ethan's visit was that he was able to bring his mom with him.primedime wrote:He will be coming on the first week of June....
