Nunes gave him a good run for that title tonight. To be honest though, some of his passes were pretty good - just not caught. Now, if had a brother like Zach to throw to, ....

The BYU QB made both Price and Nunes look silly tonight.
Of course that was against the Rainbows...

He was awful against ASU btw, 9-28 for 126 yards (got sacked 6 times).

They have a couple of highly touted underclassman(bridgeford?) they may as well throw them out there at this point

Could this be more of, UCLA isn't as good as initially thought? 1 impressive throwing game doesn't undo his previous 15-20 games of no accuracy at all.

I think it's the return of Richard Rodgers that helped. I remember the announcers saying that Tedford thought Rodgers was the best TE in the country before the season. He did explode in his first game back from injury, but part of his success was the UCLA LB's no being able to keep up with him.

Rodgers did have a big game too, but I don't think that should make a substantial difference. After all, he's had Allen this whole time. I think Manyard comes back down to earth and struggles against Wazzu.Braveheart wrote:I think it's the return of Richard Rodgers that helped.
