They talked about Utah & Starlite for the whole 1st qtr (deservedly so). Let's not act like this is '04.

USC is making a few great individual plays, and holds the lead.

By the same token, Utah has made a few abyssmal individual mistakes, that have kept them from retaining at least a portion of the early lead.

USC almost acts like they are afraid to take control of this thing... Better execution by Utah, and this could get really interesting.

This is also how I see it.

Good pass by Barkley, better route, reception, and YAC by Lee.

USC is definitely a far better team.

[homer]We spotted them 14 to keep the game interesting.[/homer]

Seriously though, I feel like USC has the best corner in the conference on one side (Nickell Robey) and the worst on the other (Torin "Toast" Harris). Jalen Ramsey can't come quick enough.

USC letting Utah stay in this game shows just how vulnerable they are. They are the Stanford of two years ago. Talented but have many soft spots, just up to the opponent to expose them.

Utah is a bad team this year, and USC didn't really impress either (in my eyes)...but the score of this game doesn't really show what USC will be in their next game or any after. Similar to the Towson LSU game. It's not like Utah really challenged in the 2nd half.

USC should thank their lucky stars for having Lee on the team. He is pretty much the entire offense.

This and the Stanford game just tells us that USC is beatable. I just really don't want to play USC twice on the road.

Good battle by Utah, but Lee and Barkley are just too good.

This was a good result for us. We want USC to be ranked as high as possible until we play them. Plus, Utah's not on our schedule.
