The key to this game is simple, don't commit the stupid penalties, don't turn the ball over, and win the battle for field position. The problem is LSU has been terrible regarding the first two. Still, I have faith, we played very well against South Carolina and had some sparks against A&M. It is a uphill battle this week but we can do it.
Field position? What on earth is that? Sounds like something for teams that huddle...

Its that thing that teams try to win when they don't break off in 60 yard runs every other play

The sun will soon find its home in the Western sky and it will be Saturday night in Death Valley.
Is something that the LSU PA announcer says for night games? If so, I can see how that would get the crowd absolutely jacked up.

"It Never Rains At Autzen Stadium", may not have the history of winning behind it to match the cache of LSU's announcement, but I like 'em both!
Wonder if Chip sticks around, a home and home could eventually be in the picture?

There's actually a pulse in this game, unlike last year.

Would hoping that they score ANOTHER touchdown just be way beyond the pale? Go LSU!

They need to retire the CBS guy calling this game. Total SEC homer and saying Oregon only won by 1 point is just poor on his part.
