We were not as good of a team on either side of the ball that year and we had a QB that couldn't throw the ball. Much different team this year.

Is it fate that both team get to play againt each other in bowl game when ksu backed out? Karma!

Well, last years team was just good enough to beat Wisconsin. I think this KSU team is more well-rounded than that Wisconsin team. I believe we'll win, I just think most of you aren't anticipating the difficulty of beating this team after they've had 5 weeks to prepare for us. Same goes for a hypothetical game against Florida which is why when the playoff system does go into effect, it will benefit it a little more than other teams.

Shelley Smith just said that Kansas State has 27 Seniors. That is a ton.

KSU is not fast, flashy and they don't put up a ton of yards but they don't turn the ball over or make many mistakes, they play sound football, don't miss tackles and force turnovers, they just win. I don't think Oregon rolls, especially given the time KSU will have to prepare. Oregon should win but it will be close, probably something similar to last seasons Rose Bowl.

Yes I think that the JUCO factor is telling in this instance.

I don't know their recruiting targets, but if the link below is accurate, it looks like they lose their entire starting defense after this year.
