One of the biggest issue Oregon will have is what happened to Scott last year. While you may not think the situations compare many outside will see it as Colorado Texas. Except int hat case CU had the inside track with the coach being related. UO doesnt have the same football tradition as UM...

A kid like Bryce with a Handler like Butler will look at how a Big time recruit at RB chose a smaller school and the lack of talent or offense has possibly killed his buzz...

I think the kid is going to UM...

You see the only good thing I see out of this is that he's supposed to be a "commit" but he's not signing LOI immediately. That's really loose.

Same rules dont apply to a top ten Five Star guy they really could do like NCAA Basketball showup the day before practice and sign their LOI schools will hold the offer open bc of who they are... They have worked hard for that contractual leverage and have every right to use it....

If BCS schools want earlier signing days, its understandable Five star recruits want later signing days and approach it as such...

If we expect him to come to Oregon, we will be disappointed. Whatever happens, happens.

That doesn't really work here dude.. they know about our offense, our system and our results.

both situations aren't comparable, from whatever view you're looking at. They are the one with the weak running game/offensive issues.

As for scott.. CU's "lack of talent" didn't attribute to his lack of success this year. He was the one who came into camp 20lbs overweight. A fellow true freshman RB was their leading rusher this yr.

Honestly, I am not too worried about this at all. In a matter of fact, I think this is good news. Its totally the oppossite of what was going on with Boyd. We are Ohio State and Miami is us. The longer he waits the worse it looks for Miami...

I was wondering the same thing, in fact it looks like the 80 yard TD on the first play of the Rose Bowl

Maybe all of us should start trolling the UM boards, encouraging them to hire Langford away from OS... The guy hasn't had a RB over 5'8 produce anything remarkable!

BAMMM Well said Mops. He is still technically committed to The U, so if he isn't signing a LOI with them on signing day all that means is he is thinking seriously of coming to Oregon.

The way I look at it, were still in the running. More than we can say a few yrs ago. when we were lucky to have a 4* look at us.
