Congrats to Dion for being selected that high. Really wanted him going to Philly but Miami is still not a bad place for him.

What type of D does Miami even run? I've though Dion would only be truly great as a 3-4 OLB. Just glad he didn't end up in Philly or Detroit.

Sigh...well if the Saints can't get Mingo at least Jarvis Jones is still on the board.

Re: NFL Draft Thread
Miami runs a 43 so I think Dion is going to play in a few different places depending on the situation. In a base 43 he can play RE, Will and Sam. Nickel/Dime is where he has the most value as you can use him as a RE, LB to a SS covering a TE like Gronk twice a year in division play.buckmarkduck wrote:What type of D does Miami even run? I wouldn't be shocked to see Chip take Long in the 2nd, if he's still there. Chips O hums along with a very good oline, and the Eagles already have great RB talent and a solid enough QB and WR's.

They really need a lot of help on defense though...buckmarkduck wrote:I wouldn't be shocked to see Chip take Long in the 2nd, if he's still there. Chips O hums along with a very good oline, and the Eagles already have great RB talent and a solid enough QB and WR's.

Nice to see him go so high, but not the team I would want for him. Really wanted to see him on the Saints
