Please point out where I compared Brown to Brooks. I compared the know-it-all fans who ended up knowing nothing.duckgrad99 wrote:dthomas=ddixon wrote:Brown has just as much skill & potential as anyone on the team. It would be nice if he had a coach to help him develop it. The people that diss on Brown are the same ones that knew Brooks just didn't have it.....he seems to be doing ok now.
Are you really comparing Brown to Brooks?Besides, go find Brooks sophomore stats. They are much better than Brown's. Brown hasn't shown me anything in his two years at Oregon, and I don't think I am alone in making that statement. Maybe he improves with Dunlap and more experience, but he still needs to improve in every area of the game.
Brown is not the player Brooks was, never will be. He is a very skilled player though that gets bagged on by the fans that think they know everything. To say, after only two years of playing college ball, under a coach that doesn't teach funamentals no less, that Brown is not a good player & should transfer is not very smart. Just like everyone watched Brooks for 2 years & knew he was never gonna be a good player......WRONG.
And for the record, I have no idea if Brown will ever be good. He shows flashes but hasn't put it all together at this point. The point I'm making is that to say a kid who's only a SOPHMORE should transfer because "you've never seen anything" is a really lame statement.
