sounds good....but boyd needs to rehab his knee so idk. and with the depth we have at QB i dont see the coaches wasting a RS on one pass play when we have DT who we already know can make that throw i.e. civil war game.

That would be OK, just to get both of them would be huge. Brown will be big whoever his QB is (Masoli, Thomas, Boyd) and Boyd will make an impact whether he beats out Thomas or Masoli (probably not) but he will have a good running back and WR's whenever he plays. By the way Costa hasn't been talked about too much by anybody, I wonder what his future will be. Will he stay and back up Masoli and Roper or will he be able to compete later against Thomas and Boyd or does he transfer or is his career over?

Bryce: I've said in an interview before that Oregon is my top school right now.

Guy on the main rivals board says that tomorrow scout and/or rivals will release the info that Bryce no longer considers himself a miami commit and is now an Oregon commit. Lots of guys started saying he was full of crap, but whatever just another rumor in the rumor mill.
Also someone else on another board said Petey Carroll contacted Brown and co., but he said no thanks too late essentially. So there is nothing to worry about there apparently.

Actually Bryce can't leave after his sophomore year. The rules are that players must be in college three years before entering the draft. Tajh and Bryce would have at least one year together after Masoli leaves.

Yeah, Bryce would have to go through at least his Junior season or redshirt as he comes in and leave as a RS Sophomore... however if he really is up to the competition (which I could easily see him beating out Crenshaw, Alston, and James) there's no way he doesn't see the field ala Stewart his Freshman year.

Brown is good enough that I don't think he will redshirt and will see plenty of playing time his first season. Blount the primary and Brown and James secondary. Crenshaw and Alston will see some playing time because the Ducks will be blowing everybody out!!!!!
