I have faith CK will get him up to speed though. He did with DD. Masoli, looks fantastic, he's going to rock the stats this year.
I think it will come with some playing time. He seemed to be getting the hang of it during his Boise St. game (yes, I know prevent D, etc.), and he'll get some mop-up time next year (or this year if he doesn't redshirt) so I think this will be recitified by taking some reps.

I'm still flabbergasted that Mustain and Corp wound up at USC, as bench warmers last year...
I keep forgetting that we have a potential senior year for masoli. As good as he might be this year his senior season could be one for the history books as far as stats go. Then again so could this one!

DT didn't move the ball well in the Spring Game. But, he did have flashes and remember that he wasn't working with the first string offense. He was being pressured due to holes in the line most of the time. So, it might not be fair to judge him on those few plays.

Did you not see DT tear Boise State a new u know what last year in the 4th quarter?...He isnt gonna have a problem playing at game speed IMO...
Considering that he hadnt had any game snaps prior to that, he did an amazing job....

Its hard to guage DT's play against BSU because they were playing a prevent defense, but at the same he put up numbers against an FBS opponent. I think you can take more from the pass that he threw in the Cival War, he came in cold and threw a beautiful pass to Maehl on the sidelines in a huge game. That to me shows his talent more so than what he did in the 4th quarter against Boise. What he did against Boise State was great from a numbers stand point. If he can redshirt this seasosn I feel like we are going to be in great hands for the two years we have him beyond the Masoli era.

CK is very excited about DT, nothing else to me matters.

Yes he was throwing against a prevent defense, but he was throwing it behind coverage ... the whole idea with a prevent defense is to not let the play get behind the secondary, yet that's exactly what he was doing. Either BSU's secondary didn't know what they were doing, or DT did that good of a job.

Good point. And another point is he can't choose what type of D he was playing against, and he was still making the plays.

My problem were his throws were very very inaccurate. His WRs bailed him out more than a few times. I'm excited for him, but not because of the BSU game.

Gonzales has had an offer for a while.
