Watching his highlight tape, I'm a little surprised he is a lower end 3 star, anyone know why he is graded so low?

I believe the JUCO rankings are always a little different from HS ones, and the timing of the grading is different too. Many think he is a true 4* and will be one once the rankings are updated. Basically, JUCO is just a little different for recruiting grading.

Scout has an article up about him committing and list him on Oregon's commit list so I think he's basically locked up, even if he hasn't done so on Twitter yet. I'm going to list him on our commit list thread.

Scout mod said he got a message from him saying he committed to UO. Some guys just don't need to post it on twitter I guess.

If he was a one time Alabama commit at TE in high-school, I'd say its safe to say he has some serious talent.

That's two TEs in 2018.
Do coaches go for a third and RS one?

And he comes in as a sophomore, right, four years to play three?

I think I read that he has used his redshirt already. In that case it would be three to play three.Greenblood wrote:And he comes in as a sophomore, right, four years to play three?

Oh -- good question. Maybe I got ahead of myself since he's in JC. Is he actually playing one more season of JC and THEN signing with Oregon in 2018, just like the HS guys? Then he'd only have two years with the Ducks, of course.

He's a 2018 guy so he's got another year before he shows up.Phenom wrote:Wait, he would be coming in the fall?
