It'd be awesome if we can add this kid: See-oh-neh Veh-ah Kah-vah.....Go get em' Coach Joe!
I always appreciate you doing this with their names.
Jerry should read this... c.a.r.e.f.u.l.l.y.

Thanks 07 & WK....being a parent/relative in the bleachers to these kids and listening to the announcers chop up their names is frustrating. I'll always be glad to help my fellow Duck friends "get a heads up" on the proper pronounciation....so they can get a chuckle on listening to Jerry or whoever is in the booth screw their names up.
Go Ducks!!!!

The worst for me still has to be when the ESPN announcer got fed the wrong information and called Marcus, Marcus, "MARIO-Taww" like super mario tawwww for his first game...
I work in a field where I get to occasionally see government officials read out names from the Pacific islands or Thailand and just absolutely brutalize them. Recently, they switched to a number system, I think in large part to avoid this issue.
Now, I'm sure I'd screw up a few myself at first glance, but if I hear it once, I've got it down...as like a 10 year old, I had those Malepeai brothers name down.

And then the bald headed dingleberry for the Oregonian got caught in a lie saying he talked to Mariota’s Mom and was pronouncing it correctly.
