Just a guess, but maybe he can’t get into Stanford, and as for for Wazzu, maybe he’s looked at a map and saw where Pullman is located.5$ wrote:Only Pac-12 schools, but no Stanford or WSU. I wonder why not those schools?

Just broke that Johnson has picked Oregon and has already started online classes. Could potentially be eligible to play right away due to family hardship.

Sad to see some salty Canes fans in that thread. Sick family members and then all you get is "couldn't hack it at Miami" "you should have stayed" etc....
Happy for the commit though for the Ducks! Immediate eligibility is a bonus.
Great offer list. Not sure how he looked in year 1 at Miami.

Man, when has proximity actually helped Oregon land a player?...I know there have been a few but it is rare enough to make note of....
Stewart Mandel-"From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I much prefer to watch a good spread-rushing offense over a traditional Power-I offense, and Oregon's has been the most fun by far for the past several years. It's fast, its precise, and when Chip Kelly has the right quarterback (Dixon, Masoli) at the helm, the possibility of someone ripping off a 60-yard run exists on nearly every play."
