Are you saying Chris Steele is looking around?

After de-committing I would assume he's looking around if he's still interested in playing college football. Although, maybe Jalen Hall is giving him life advice.

a bit harsh.

It's either Oregon or Florida.

Kinda surprised to see him decommit since he seemed like a recruit who'd stay with SC throughout his recruitment.

Agreed

Also noticed he called it SUC instead of USC

Typo? Bad blood? Some kind of beef?

Probably means that USC will now go after Mykael Wright.

Huh? I'm reading his original statement from over 3 hours ago that's been retweeted by multiple people and it says USC, not SUC. Not sure what you're reading.

Several crystal balls to Oregon today after he announces decommit. Geez closing out with him and Thibaduex would be absolutely nasty. And these are legit compete with Bama type guys. Trying to pump the breaks for I am a 37 year old man but Cristobal has me more excited than I probably should be about college kids lol

Sounds like it's between us, Oklahoma, and Florida. With an outside chance of LSU.

I bet USC goes harder after Mykael Wright now.

If we do Steele this one, I wonder if we still pursue his teammate McDuffie. McDuffie is probably Stanford bound, but an interesting development.

If we wind up with some combination of Chris Steele, Kayvon Thibodeaux, Drake Jackson, and a DT like Siaki Ika this will be beyond unbelievable.

I think most knew USC would target Wright at some point. No big surprise if they do. Oregon needs to stay on him. Every year we lose recruits. It would be nice this year if did not have any of our top tier guys get poached. One can dream. 2 more months roughly til early signing period. Oregon needs to keep on their recruits about staying committed.

Per r/CFB, Steele was told by USC's own players how terrible their secondary coaching is, so hopefully Wright is hearing the same things

From sane thread, USC recruiting sites are reporting that USC dropped Steele because Scott Schrader gave him money. Or something.

Wtf

Weird stuff, if true:

“While 2019 St. John Bosco HS CB Chris Steele claims USC isn’t the perfect fit for him, the Trojans actually parted ways with him because of the high potential for NCAA drama.

Shortly after Steele committed to USC, the Trojan compliance office was approached by multiple parties, including USC247.com, with evidence he took improper benefits. The evidence shows these benefits were funneled from USC recruiting reporters. Scott Schrader of TrojanInsider.com and Ryan Young of TrojanSports.com are the two reporters accused of doing so. Ryan Abraham and Gerard Martinez of USCFootball.com were also said to be approached about providing improper benefits to Steele, but there’s no evidence they did.

I got curious and looked at the wearesc thread

The sources is actually usc247.com, not USC.247.com

Apparently it's a try hard site with dudes that have beef with Schrader

Probably not true
