What do you mean can not go surfing on Oregon coast. Sure you can... Just might freeze your duck tailfeathers off. All kidding aside I know what ya mean about surfing here. I will approach his comments cautiously since he just visited our school. Someone else had made the comments about someone named Boyd saying nice things about Clemson because was last school he visited. The same principle could be applied to Hall with Oregon. Just a thought. I am nervous about the commits and wonder how good this class will be. Hopefully we get some major 3 star recruits or better this next week. We could use some good news.

If he is a surfer, maybe he would like to take up windsurfing on the Gorge? Yeah, it is not right next to Eugene, but not all that far away either. :)

The surf on the coast is actually good... just not warm. We are in a very good location with surf or snow within a 90 min drive

Well he lives in Arizona so at least the surfing here will be better then it is there. I'd rather freeze then just be covered in burning hot sand

Surfing on the coast is great as long as you don't mind wearing a wetsuit!

Getting in and out of the wetsuit is a lot harder than finding a decent place to do it...

Seen some of Hall's 1 on 1 videos and he really didn't look impressive. Out of 8 tries he caught 2-3 balls, and he could never get open.
Cliff Harris went against him a couple times and Hall couldn't get open(Cliff Harris usually shut down WR's every time).

Hall's good, not great. I'd still love to get him, he is a very solid WR.

On a side note, I've seen film of greyshirt freshman Blake Cantu (3* WR) and I was EXTREMELY impressed with his 1v1 abilities. He got open and caught some crappily thrown balls. Remember.... Cantu should count against our 2009 class and is a WR.
