Dollars is an EE who should count towards last year so we might be able to call it 22/21 and oversign another player or 2 possibly to be 27/25.
Appears there are 12/13 that will early enroll. Some in January and some for spring term.

I don't know what the cutoff date to qualify as an early entrant but Mario said he expects at least a dozen recruits to be on campus before June. Some in January and another batch for spring term.

So the number of extras will simply come down to what last years count was since we've got plenty of EE's that we can count back a year.

Realistically, who do we even have a shot with on that list right now? Doesn’t seem like do with any. I’ve never even seen the name Kaiir Elam pop up on recruiting targets for us.

Does anyone know how many visits we have left? The last few years we were tapped out by now but I’m curious if we can trip a ton of new guys in January or not.

Teams get a total of 56 and from what I can find, Oregon has used around 43 so far. With them needing only a handful of players to fill out the class, they could easily take all the ones from the lists of potential late period signees who haven't OV'd to Oregon and still have around 4-5 left over.

The Oregonian has done a scholarship breakdown for what the 2019 team looks like and based on their numbers (which line up with what most recruiting sites had), they currently have 86 players on scholarship. With Cristobal saying they could take a handful more, it seems he's expecting some players to transfer, medically retire, or enter the NFL Draft early. Some players I see as potential departures are Troy Dye (draft), Poutasi (transfer), Felix (transfer), Demetri Burch (transfer), Daewood Davis (transfer), and Billy Gibson (transfer.)

I don't think Felix would transfer. Why would he?

Poutasi, Burch, Davis and Gibson I could see

I'm sure there will be others. Shear?

Medical retirees: 1-2 linemen. Almost like clockwork.
Transfers: Chance with the Florida guys, but there's generally some that you don't expect (Jalen Brown, AJ Hotchkins, etc.)
Go ahead and throw in that 1-2 people will do something stupid and get kicked off the team in the offseason.

Follow Alabama. Always oversign

Speaking of Hotchkins, he led Conference USA in tackles with 126 and 7 sacks. He was on a pretty bad UTEP team, but with all our injuries at ILB we could have used him this season.

Why did he leave? He would have played at least half the snaps here if not more.

Because he was getting juked out of his shoes on a regular basis in the Pac-12.

I was high on Hotchkins when he signed with Oregon, but he's a downhill guy who was just too stiff and really struggled with playing against spread teams. He would have played a ton of snaps for Oregon and maybe even started, though.
