Re: New Commitment?
The rumored commitment wasn't from Williams; it was from 2011 RB Tyson Coleman. We probably won't hear from Williams until after his visit.duckgrad99 wrote:I don't see anything about Williams. Can anyone confirm?

Re: New Commitment?
ESPN has Williams as a verbal commit . If he was soft he wouldn't be on their list.

More on Coleman.
"In the end the coaching staff, facilities, area, was just too hard to beat. I could tell the coaches really care about the players. I am working on graduating early, but at my school you have to get permission from the principal and from the school board. I'm just so excited, glad to have it out of the way."
Another ESPN 2011 top 150 is Kraig Akins
Class of 2011 ESPNU 150 Watch List defensive lineman Kraig Akins (Springfield, Ore./Thurston) spoke with ESPN affiliate Web site DuckTerritory.com about the early stages of his recruitment.
"Right now I am hearing from Oregon, Oregon State, Cal, and UCLA mostly. I don't have any offers right now but that's OK because I am not worried about getting them right now. I just want to win games and worry about how many offers I have after the season."
"Right now, I think I want to stay close to home and play ball," said Akins. "So I think Oregon and Oregon State are two schools I really want to make sure I get offers from."

Williams is not a commit at all. At best we are slight leaders right now.
