Yeah, but is he going to hard commit to his announcement date or is he going to soft commit? It is Prom season after all.

One of the writers for Tigernet seems to be getting interviews with DJ, so I trust Clemson fans he's announcing his commitment date. Last interview he said he hadn't decided the date yet, although he supposedly told Rivals it would be May 5th before coming to our spring game. It could just be some gamesmanship to draw attention to his commitment when everyone is pretty sure it's Clemson.

After following the Cole Anthony commitment scenario... it kind of reminds me of that. Got to keep us riveted! But I am pretty sure of how this one will work out too.

Can’t really blame Duck fans for being a little gun shy when it comes to big recruits and committing to the Ducks. I’m a sucker though and have a feeling it will go our way..

So would the coaches know at this point or are they as much in the dark as most everyone else? I know crystal balls can be fairly accurate among the more credible pundits later in the process but looking back it seems they are wrong more often than right when a recruit commits early in the process. So I don’t pay to much attention to them until later on and even those are almost even with Clemson being a slight favorite.
