I think it goes back to how they develop regardless of where they are from. True, kids are bigger in the South and there are more of them to choose from. True, the NW does bring occasional big kids. In both cases, there is a bit of a crap shoot on 1) Do they continue to develop physically. 2) Do they love the game enough to continue to work and develop. The ducks have had some unreal talent from out west the past several years... Buckner, Armsteadt, Hart etc and they go lucky with some late additions Fat Mac, Cumberlander. Fat Mac contributed straight away because of his unique body style and LOVE of the game/ Role. Cumberlander needed 4 years to develop.

I think the conclusion here is that it is really hard to predict this position. (DL)
