We are at 22 commits, with Donte Thornton a long time silent commit. That leaves 2 spots for: any grad transfers, JTT, Foreman, Ceyair Wright and Bryce Foster. Contrary to all of our hopes, we are not "getting everybody". It's very likely that the coaches will want to keep open at least 1 spot for a grad transfer so we likely will only see one more high schooler commit barring any decommits in the next few months; which seems unlikely with no visits allowed.

Interesting. That changes the calculus quite a bit in my mind. There are so many talented guys transferring these days, I think you'd be ignorant to not leave ~2-3 spots if you're a destination school, like Oregon is.

Especially with everyone getting a bonus year. There will likely be a ton of grad transfers after this season.

Not to mention the pool will be deeper with even up to two years of ellibility tacked on for good measure. In some cases they could be like getting a 2 year Juco

Remember it’s a two way street, though. We’re likely to lose some guys lower on the depth chart who see a chance with an extra year to make a name elsewhere.

There is a rumor that Cristobal said no to a 4-star DE who really wanted to come to Oregon though, so maybe they still think they have a shot with Tuimoloau.
