Interesting. That changes the calculus quite a bit in my mind. There are so many talented guys transferring these days, I think you'd be ignorant to not leave ~2-3 spots if you're a destination school, like Oregon is.

Especially with everyone getting a bonus year. There will likely be a ton of grad transfers after this season.

Not to mention the pool will be deeper with even up to two years of ellibility tacked on for good measure. In some cases they could be like getting a 2 year Juco

Remember it’s a two way street, though. We’re likely to lose some guys lower on the depth chart who see a chance with an extra year to make a name elsewhere.

Right, but we won't be able to fill their positions if we've already maxed out at 25 additions through the high school and juco signees

We need 6-7 guys to transfer to fit in the 25 so attrition is expected

I don't get how they keep signing all these guys. Do they have grayshirts on standby or something?
There is a rumor that Cristobal said no to a 4-star DE who really wanted to come to Oregon though, so maybe they still think they have a shot with Tuimoloau.
