Fat lever needs to be in the same category with Thomas and Magic

I think so. A year ago he would have been much higher on this list sadly.vincent1469 wrote:Damn this most recent TC shot down Wayman’s value

His PPG has dipped down to only 10. I actually originally had him sorted with the 'Top PG" list but then dropped him down about 8 spots. I can definitely see justifying bumping him up thoughOregon Ownage wrote:Fat lever needs to be in the same category with Thomas and Magic

Agreed... Pretty laughable to think those are bad contracts.dd10snoop28 wrote:46. Tom Chambers - Rockets

Both guys that are worth their contract iMO and should be ranked higher.
Tucker is a lot closer to Byron Scott than to Clyde Drexler.
Chambers is in his prime and has been one of the most efficient offensive forwards in the game.
Joe Barry Carroll should probably be higher as well.
Byron Scott seems a little overrated.

If Salley had A potential I'd probably feel different.JayGreen wrote:Was hoping to see Salley in that 33-43 range. No Dailey either hmm.
Dailey was an omission for sure, especially on a great contract long term.

Re: Top 50 Trade Value
They're in the top 50, so that section definitely isn't bad players, but guys that either are, or will be taking up 50% of the soft cap at some point and aren't surefire All-stars do and should hold less value than a top producing guy on a rookie scale deal.Boom wrote:Agreed... As for Joe Barry Carroll, I for some reason thought he was past 30. At age 28, he should be higher on the list, so I agree.

Moses is a Center straight out of the 1960s (when rebounds were 55-65 a game) with a modern shooting average.

Re: Top 50 Trade Value
Not really sure i get having Thorpe, Drexler, or McNamara even in the honorable mentions. They're pretty run of the mill role players.
Tucker isnt a great defender but is a pretty transformative offensive player and someone I'd value higher than a lot of guys ahead of him.
Carroll in the same tier as Laimbeer is insulting to Joe lol.
D Young, Malone, Stockton, Perkins all seem very high as well.
I'd have Jordan over Drazen and probly Barkley too.
Are we sure Hakeem wouldn't fetch more in a trade than Moses? Moses obviously better, but just asking lol.

^ Yep I missed on Joe Barry. I somehow mixed up his age and had him at 32 in my notes, not 28.

+5 Michael Jordan
jump shot
inside scoring
if neither of those work I'll think of another choice

Re: Top 50 Trade Value
I’d almost like to see a whole article just nitpicking or re-doing my rankings for someone else’s. It’s all so subjective too on what we all value.dd10snoop28 wrote:Good topic for article btw. Produces good discussion.

Maybe at the end of this season I'll put Moses on the block and test that out....Craig wrote:
