Are will still going after the local guys, Merriweather and Clemons, and saving/have spots for them?

Did Oregon drop Merriweather, or did he drop the Ducks? That seems a shame, given his proximity. Sounds like his sisters went to Oklahoma though, so I guess no strangers to leaving the area.

I don't know with 100% certainty, but I have read Oregon just slowed down. They have other prospects that they like better or that fit their needs better. Same with Satenga. In normal years wee are all over this kid. He is a burner. With that said, Eric Skopil on today's podcast said that he cannot be specific but he believes that Oregon will get the highest rated WR that they have ever signed this year. He also said that he was being intentionally vague.

ALL TIME RECRUITS: https://247sports.com/college/oregon/Sp ... eRecruits/

Ok-- So the all time highest WR is Cam Colvin: https://247sports.com/player/cameron-colvin-26026/

I am 100% guessing here, but this tells me that this could be (or is likely to be): Kevin Coleman: https://247sports.com/player/kevin-coleman-46058557/

I would love this to be true. https://www.hudl.com/video/3/11407323/5 ... 06fc29868d

So I am pretty dumb but reading these, isn't Colvin higher? Colvin was sitting at .9932 and looking at Coleman, he's at .9882. Now, I could be wrong here, but isn't Colvin higher in this instance? lol

1. The 247 guys making a mistake on a small (or huge) detail never happens.
2. Maybe he means in .98 rating or in composite ranking, or in 247’s own ranking, or since Cristobal became head coach, or since he last ate a BLT.
3. Coleman or TMac would both qualify, maybe Evan Stewart who had the Ducks as a finalist. But it’s probably Coleman or TMac.
4. Coleman is fantastic, as are the other two. Brennen Thompson is also a highlight reel. Let’s just take them all to spare them the pain of not being Ducks.

Can you imagine a WR group of Troy Franklin, Thornton, and any of the above? Is this what Tua felt like at Alabama?

Well that changed quickly. All crystal balls pointing to Oregon tomorrow.

Does this mean that staff thinks they are out on Thompson, McMillan, and Coleman? I can’t imagine that we are taking too many more receivers.

Conventional wisdom is Thompson stays CTH.

Fair point— i was looking at overall national ranking.
