Not sure, but the ESPN scouting profile for him says he has a nice frame to build on...chapelhillduck wrote:His Rivals numbers (6-5 275 5.4) "seem" much better than this Scout numbers (6-3 265 5.2)
anybody know how big this guy is and if he has the frame to put on a bunch more...
IMO all the areas he needs to get better at are areas that are easily fixable. With Greatwood coaching and given our depth along the line and the fact he wont have to play right away he should get lots of reps in practice and better himself by the time he is needed.VinnyKnuckles wrote:Not sure, but the ESPN scouting profile for him says he has a nice frame to build on...chapelhillduck wrote:His Rivals numbers (6-5 275 5.4) "seem" much better than this Scout numbers (6-3 265 5.2)

"Burrell possesses raw talent as an offensive lineman. He has a good frame to build on and plays bigger than his physical dimensions. A solid run blocker that shows strength and fight. Plays too high and gets too angular but is enough of an athlete to polish up the fundamentals and skills once he gets to the collegiate level. Shows foot quickness when pulling and trapping. High motor lineman that goes till the whistle blows. A solid pass protector but needs to have a little patience; gets anxious and sometimes over extends. So aggressive that tends to lunge at pass rusher. Burrell may have to play inside at the next level but could move to tackle once he matures physically and mentally."

I remember reading that he was measured in at 6'3.5" at one of the camps. His weight was in the 260s. The way I figure it is that we recruited 3 guards this year with Armstrong, Fox, and Burrell. Maybe one plays C or maybe Armstrong switches to DT. Either way, we only got one T prospect this year. I would've liked another.
