someone told me that its whatever sport occurs first in the season. so basketball occurring before baseball would mean a bball scholarship according to him.
I believe the highest revenue sport is charged the scholarship. Not sure how they distinguish between fencing and lacrosse, but at Oregon football>basketball>track.
The RG and university have made mention of this before and they said that when an athlete is going to play multiple sports, the sport that starts the earliest in the school year gets the scholarship. It's not based on revenue but by the timeline in when the scholarship is to be used.
