Last year Mikesell was the focus of my ire, but this year it is the pathetic rebounding of Prince that bothers me most about this team.
Stewart Mandel-"From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I much prefer to watch a good spread-rushing offense over a traditional Power-I offense, and Oregon's has been the most fun by far for the past several years. It's fast, its precise, and when Chip Kelly has the right quarterback (Dixon, Masoli) at the helm, the possibility of someone ripping off a 60-yard run exists on nearly every play."

This is going to a rebuilding season. All the work that Sabrina, Satou, Maite and Ruthie have done, might be to an end by mid-season. This team might not even make the NCAAs.
As pessimistic as you are, I am commensurately optimistic about this team. We lack a top level point guard, and two all-pac PGs are on the bench right now. Sheer struggles in the role right now. Get those players healthy and Sabally back in the mix and this team will make the Elite Eight, and have a shot beyond that...

As someone else mentioned, these early season injuries may turn into a blessing by seasoning of some of the younger players for a deep run. Given the quality of the teams they've played, and who has been missing from each loss, the 3 losses are completely explainable in my opinion.
